Second annual Pub United Bonspiel is a sweeping success.

Year 2 of Pub United – our company-wide social and sports initiative – got off to a roaring start in January with a return to the Leaside Curling Club. Over four action-packed hours, close to 100 Publicis Toronto co-workers did their best to throw, roll, slide and sweep. A few of us showed a surprising amount of skill. Most of us did not. But thanks to the curling club members who patiently coached us throughout the afternoon, we definitely picked up a few tricks.

There’s already talk of Bonspiel 2020, aka Bonspiel III: Hammer Time. Will the same fierce competitions resurface next year? Will the Sweeping Beauties take their revenge on the Straight Shooters? Can the Curling Dervishes defeat Legion of Broom? And will Rock Steady succumb to Legally Stoned? Only time will tell…
