A little over 18 months ago, Publicis Groupe purchased Nurun, a Canadian digital and web platform agency with a global network of offices. As we integrated their operations and expertise into Publicis Canada, we recognized a unique skill-set and process in their website maintenance team that could be applied across multiple digital channels.
Out of this came Spark, our high-volume, low-cost unit dedicated to the production of display, email and micro-site content. One year later, Spark has grown by leaps and bounds, proving to be a near-shore alternative for North American marketers who want the value of off-shore with the quality of local market development. With a production-only focus, Spark strips away unnecessary account service roles and funnels work through a dedicated project management, design and development team structured to move quickly and efficiently. Spark now enjoys an even split of work originating from Canadian and US clients.
